Terms for using Cortex IQ

By accessing, registering for, or using Cortex IQ, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you accept an invitation, create an account, or continue using the platform after updates to these terms, you confirm that you accept the version then in effect.

Cortex IQ is provided to support training delivery, learner management, provider operations, assessment workflows, onboarding, audit readiness, communication tracking, and certification support. The platform may be used only for legitimate authorised training, operational, compliance, or learning purposes.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials and for activity that occurs under their account. Account access is role-based. Users may not impersonate others, share credentials irresponsibly, or attempt to access data or workflows outside their authorised role or provider context.

The platform, interface design, operational workflows, branding, content structure, and related materials remain the property of Reify Maxim Group or its licensors unless expressly stated otherwise. User-submitted records remain subject to the operational rights and compliance purposes necessary to run the service.

Users may not misuse the platform, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with system performance, reverse engineer protected functionality, upload harmful code, falsify operational records, misuse learner or provider information, or use the platform in a way that compromises legality, compliance, privacy, or audit integrity.

We aim to keep Cortex IQ available and reliable, but uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. The platform may experience maintenance windows, updates, outages, provider dependencies, or third-party disruptions. We may change, suspend, or improve features where necessary to operate the service responsibly.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reify Maxim Group is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive losses arising from platform use, downtime, reliance on user-entered data, operational delays, or third-party service failures. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reify Maxim Group and its affiliates, officers, employees, and service providers from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and costs arising from your misuse of the platform, breach of these terms, or violation of applicable law or another party’s rights.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where required to protect platform integrity, enforce these terms, respond to unlawful conduct, honour role-based access controls, or comply with legal or operational obligations. Organisations may also manage access for their linked users according to configured permissions and operational status.

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.

Parties should first attempt to resolve disputes in good faith through direct engagement. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the matter may be referred to the competent courts or any other lawful dispute resolution mechanism available under South African law.

We may update these Terms of Use to reflect changes in the platform, legal requirements, commercial arrangements, or operational practice. The latest version, effective date, and last updated date will be shown on this page.
